JB3 1.4 vs C63 AMG MHP/TCP Tuned, No Sec cats, BMC filters- VIDEO!!!

C63 AMG (WORLD's fastest stock c63 amg also)
-Custom MHP ECU/TCU Tune
-No sec. cats
-No resonator
-MHP 180F THERMOSTAT
-BMC Filters
-LSD

335i
JB3 1.4
BMS DCI
3" C@tless RR Coated DP's
CP-E C@tless Exhaust
Spearco FMIC
Forge Diverter Valve's

A couple nites prior to this, the C63 AMG beat a E60 M5 with Esienmann exhaust, Xpipe, no sec cats/no resonator, air scoops, CAI's from 20-130 rolls by about 2 car lengths and would continue to pull if they did not shut it down.
Also beat SAE corrected 420WHP w211 E55 AMG, which is a factory freak!!!!

This AMG holds the worlds fastest stock 1/4 mile time of 12.1@116mph.

Run 1 and 2- From 20 mph up to 120. I would pull a 1/4 to 1/2 car till 100 and then he would pull to where my front bumper was on his rear bumper and would continue to pull about a car length but we shut down at 120. (during run 1 i got a limp mode and power gave out somewhat and same thing occured the run directly after for run 2, i was on the low boost race map)

40 minute car cool down break........

Run 3-we did 20 to ~150mph

I was on the high boost race map this run and would pull the 1/2 car intiailly first and then pulled some more and stayed about 1- 1 1/2 car length ahead and held the lead and kept the full lead with no problem up to 150mph.

VIDEO

Here is an added video of the C63 AMG so you can tell it is modded and LOUD (for Sniz)

hmmmm

so have you been to the strip yet? you'll need to be trapping 119mph+ to do what you did to that car.

I see the video, just not sure if I buy it

that car trapped 116mph bone stock and i'm guessing with its mods its picked up 60-90hp more and your pulling it?

also, whats high boost vs low boost on your car right now?

sorry to be a downer here, but I've seen the modded C63's run and I have yet to see a 335 that will keep up with them with your mods on the top end.

oh and lol at the limp modes, that always sucks.

he didn't mention it in the first post, but if you notice in the video he is running 109octane while the c63 is running 93octane.

What do you trap in your your 335? Im waiting for my pulley, heatexchanger and tune for my e55 and that will put me in the 120-123 trap range.

Id love to run a well modded 335

I am running MS109 (which in reality is only 104 octane, NOT 109 octane) also I am on the 18ohm board. I was on map 12 in the second race, i was on map 8 and got a limp mode on the frist two races. Please do not bring your negativity in here since you lost to a c63 amg that was modded 1 year ago when our tunes were not even close to as strong as they are now.

so what does your car trap and put down on the dyno?

what does that c63 now run in the 1/4? I'm sure he's been back if he took the time to set the stock record and then spend all the money for those mods.

also, the camera car does not sound like a heavily modded c63 to me, they are LOUD w/ those mods.

negativity and reality are often 2 different things

I'll leave this one be, i've put in my 2 cents.

Love the OP to prove me wrong, he'd be driving one of the fastest if not THE fastest stock turbo 335's around

Looking at the dragtimes.com 335i there is: 1/4 Mile MPH: 120.916
But it is with less mods than OP and with older tune-version since isn't this 1.4 the newest?

thats hotrod, you cant really put him in any 335 drag discussions as no one has ever been able to replicate what he did w/ his turbo melter maps and such.

depends on the boost, like the op said, hes getting limp modes, this is obvi not a safe tune for everyday,he just maxed out his board with resistors to have some fun.

and that 335 was a max out psi run too, hotrod is boys with terry,im sure he made him a custom board for that run.

This statement is not true. I was limping on the stock LOW boost race maps that show peak boost at 15 psi. I had issues with my Forge DV's poping up since the OEM piece on the charge pipe is faulty (so i had to zip tie it down). IT was not tune related.

Please don't make comments like this when you have no idea what occured.

Also, all these maps come with the JB3.

Records are beaten all the time. Each hero story lives until its beaten. There will be a new Usain Bolt or a new hero in each sport once in a while.

At least, it seems that having a lot more mods helps in replicating.
