Dude, punctuation was invented for a reason!

Not sure if I understood all your questions, but I'll say that a BT scanner can delete any codes in your car. Disconnecting the battery will not clear codes stored in the ECU. And what do you mean with "touch the negative to the positive"? Want to short-circuit the car??

WOW... That was hard to follow.

If you want to clear codes or are worried about your warranty, get a BT cable. Plain and simple.

Hold on, you are touching the negative terminal to the positive terminal on the battery?

If you touch the negative to the positive, you're gonna get a reset for sure! Hope you have alternative transportation standing by...or at least a bus pass.
