Looks nice George! I'm quite pleased with it myself!
I installed mine Monday/Tuesday.

I see this as a must for anyone with a tune/flash. Been waiting forever for Shiv to have boost, H20 temp etc. with procede.

Thanks 335rocks, I went the same route as you, just saw the picture. The boost pipe could have been a foot longer to have been perfect. All in all the fitment was simple but you really need to put your back into removing the center console and gear leaver. I got the cuts to prove it hehe.
Have you got concerns that the shock hood might flatten the boost pipe when closed?

There are fitment instructions at www.p3cars.com . I reckon it was pretty easy to install. Hard part was taking of the OEM trim.

George,

Ours are still sitting in customs

Did you think about running the tubing from the DV's through the firewall on the passenger side and then behind the dash on the inside of the car?

That was how I thought to run it when i did some measurements for Rick when I first sent him a RHD vent to get the project running. Keeps the tubing pretty well hidden that way too.

Cheers,

Stuart

Thanks guys! Glad the install worked out good!! Future kits will have a longer boost tube to give you more slack, but it looks like the current length just barely worked!

Time to officially add the RHD version to the store

Thanks to WOPALX for getting this project started for us!!! (your RHD vent is in the box being returned to you, pre-assembled)

-Rick

I didn't have any issues with the center console trim, but you need to give it a few tugs to get it loose. However I almost smacked myself in the face pulling the gear knob off.

I have looked at the boost pipe and the only place where it's getting squeezed a tiny bit is coming out from under the brake cover, but everywhere else it looks okay. I ran the boost pipe under the wiring where the gas pressurized spring comes down so it wouldn't be flatten when closed. Is this the area you are concerned with?

Slow customs sucks

I had a look from the engine bay to see if it was possible to run the tubing on the passenge side, but I couldn't see any way to do it. However it sounds like I should have a look at taking the lower panel on the passenger side off and see if there is a rubber grommet on this side as well. I agree this would be a nicer route to take. Did you already check this?

When I got it I was in such a rush to fit that I never even thought of a better solution. I have started getting irritated with the reflection of the gauge in the mirror. Has anyone noticed this?
I am going to try go the route you suggested, seems like there will be less bends. Thanks for the idea.

There is a rubber grommet on the passenger side, if you carefully remove the panel under the glove box (it's got some special cable on it that I think is fiber optic) you will see the grommet. Heap of wires go through there I think to the ECU compartment.

That's where I ran the cable for my DEFI gauge, hence the suggestion.

At night I get a slight reflection in the window/mirror, but not anything that I really notice.
