new LET Motorsports Stage 2 dyno/track results
Last week we obtained some new dyno numbers from the latest Stage 2 flash from LET Motorsports. We also got to hit the track with the new tune.
On the dyno, the LET Stage 2 flash made 59 more hp and 82 more ft/lb of torque over the stock tune. Stage 2 runs at 13.5psi. Conditions for the day were 60° and 90% humidity. The numbers were obtained on our shop 335 with the following mods: aFe Intake Berk technology Downpipes Borla full exhaust Code Three Performance Intercooler 91 Octane We first ran a few baselines with the stock tune, then flashed to the LET Stage 2 tune. Here is the dyno and a/f comparison below. The tune drives incredible. It is has very smooth and linear power delivery, with instant throttle response. There is no perceptible lag in this tune. On Saturday the 15th, we had the great opportunity to have Jeff Tyler drive our 335 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. Jeff is the driver for the Berk Technology Redline Time Attack 135. The tune performed flawlessly every session, and allowed Jeff to blow the doors off many unsuspecting corvettes Hopefully he will chime in with his thoughts on the tune. |

Since you sell both GIAC and LET do you have comparisons? I know GIAC only has stage 1 and you are showing an updated? stage 2 for Let - but it would still be great information.
Is this an updated stage 2 for Let? If it is, what needed to be changed from the older version? |

Hopefully we will have a comparison soon.
Yes, the baseline for that day was with the mods listed. The only change was the stock tune versus the LET S2 tune. |

How many cats are in your exhaust system? Amoung other mods I have a Helix FMIC, VK oil cooler and AE exhaust system with the 2nd cats deleted, but still have the primary cats. Do I need catless DP's to run the stage 2 set-up?

Not too much else to say. The car is a beast! Everything on this car is tuned so well: the engine, the brakes, the suspension... it all worked together flawlessly. Big thanks to Harold & HP Autowerks for letting me drive it! I had a blast. And I think we offended the Corvette Club |

A big thank you to Jeff for showing us how to really drive His input on the car was very valuable. He certainly showed everyone at the track the huge potential a modded 335 has. Thanks again! |

Any comparison at this point in time won't be apples to apples as LET has a stage 2 flash right now while GIAC only has stage 1. that being said it would still be interesting

LET Stage 2 and GIAC Stage 1 is on the same playing field, both are making 13.5 psi of boost. The different stages is just a number....and to give people more options if they choose to go with a conservative tune. Harold |

The GIAC stage 1 flash is made for an otherwise stock car, it won't be taking advantage of all the mods your shop 335 has. Sure the mods won't take away anything, but they won't be used to their full potential until we get GIAC's stage 2 or 2+. Apple to oranges until then, but still a fun test.

Great stuff, really hoping that the LET - ESS - GIAC et al flashes will continue to push improvement. Direct comparisons will be most useful.
