Balancing and bent wheels

Anyone here bent their wheels or had problems with balancing?

Yes and yes. I have a bend on the inner hub of one of my wheels. I did manage to balance it out (thanks Rocco. ), but it's slowly coming back (the wobble, that is). I am going to need to rebalance or re-round the wheel (if possible). What's up?

i put 19" wheels on a couple months ago and i havent been able to balance them properly since they were installed. ive taken my car in twice now for re-balancing. the place i bought the wheels from is going to swap the tires out this week for a new set hoping that it will eliminate the problem...i also found out that i bent one of my rear rims when i took my car in this weekend. just wondering if other people have experienced this as well with 19's. i just have a tiny bit of vibration in the steering...its not terrible but its not perfect.

What are the wheels, OEMs or aftermarket? Are they road force balancing them? try the new set, see how it goes. Odds are it's a bend but when they balance they should see the bend.

As for bends and 19s, they happen on all wheels. I've had clients with bent 15's and bent 24's. It seems to happen more often on reps/cast wheels (in my experience), but can happen on forged too, as I am an example of. :/

where did you go to get the refinish and re-balance? i would love to get my rims refinished....crazy curb rash from the downtown core and their not so straight curbs....could also use a rebalance...car has never felt the same since i swapped out the run flats on the oem 230's....
