For those w/ Eisenmann on an E93...
Can you please give me your opinions? Would you buy it again? Do you have any resonance? Any problems with conversations with the top up?
Thanks in advance! |

I just had Eisenmann Sport installed on my 08 E93 328i. It is amazing! I would definitely buy it again. It has no droning at all. I have been doing lot's of research and Eisenmann is the way to go. Make sure you select the 76mm tips. Not only the sound but the tips look amazing as compared to the OEM performance exhaust. It is not loud at all. You can definitely have a conversation with the top down. It has a very refined tone nothing abtrusive at all. I am very paranoid when it comes to muffler sound. And most important I still want my wife to ride in the car and she hates loud sound. I hope it helps your decision making ...

AT or MT, I hear it causes an unbearable drone with AT.

Depends on whether you have AT or MT. If you have AT, I heard the droning can be too much for some. If you have MT, drone is minimal and some people say non-existent. I have the E-Race on my car and I have MT...and let me tell you, it is pure heaven and very little drone...mine tends to happen at 2300-2500 rpm, but I actually enjoy hearing what little drone there is. Highway cruising at 75 mph is totally comfortable and non-intrusive (you can have a normal conversation top up or top down). My exhaust is fully broken-in and I actually think it got a bit quieter...or more civilized and refined. Driving in rush hour traffic, it's nice, deep and throaty (not obnoxious at all), but when you go WOT, it starts screaming like a roaring lion! Freakin heaven! Everyone that rides in the car (every female, too) LOVES the sound...top up or top down (top down is even better!). I would get E-Race again in a heartbeat!
