The E90 3-series is the benchmark of 4-door sports sedans. Where's the E92 rank?

I always see car reviewers raving on amazing the 4-door 3 series has been all of these years, but I don't see as many people talking about the coupe version. Where does the E92/BMW 3-series coupes in general stand in terms of other sport coupes? Is it also the benchmark, or is there another car that people compare to?

I really don't differentiate the coupe from the sedan in terms of handling/performance because they are so similar.
I guess it's direct competitor would be something like a G37 coupe, TT coupe, or a 370Z. The Z would probably have edge in handling over the e92. one could even argue that the corvette coupe would be a competitor if you consider price. |

From what I have read the automotive press seems to feel that there have been a number of competitors to the 3 Series but the 3 series has remained the benchmark. CA |
