planning Road Trip, suggestion please! YVR people!!!

I will be on vacation next week.... for 3-5 days
thinking go road trip
could be myself alone, or 1 friend companied

where do you guys suggest? I wanna take my car, and take lots pictures and blow my mind off from this sick vancouver area.....

I would suggest Kelowna but they had the fire there. How about Jasper/Columbia Icefield/Lake Louise/Banff.

whislter!! the hotels are very cheap la, i stayed there for 2 nights a few weeks back, you can stay at a 5 star hotel for a bit over $100/night

How about a surfing lesson in Tofino? Me and my friend in Vancouver were talking about it but decided to postpone it for next year. It costs around 220~240 dollars with the rental for equipment included.
