GVA - Where to buy a really long Torx screwdriver

My piece of crap Karcher pressure washer has sprung a leak. I've sourced out how to fix it and what part I need but I need a really long Torx 15 driver.

Any idea where I can get one with out picking up a massive set???

and no, CrappyTire and HomeDesperate do not have them. Ideally somewhere in Vancouver proper.

Thanks.

Not sure where you can get a really long torx driver, but perhaps you can just pick up a torx bit and use a long socket extension with it.

I get a lot of my specialty tools from Princess Auto. Here is the link to their website. They have 4 locations in B.C.. Hope this help.

Try out the hardware and tools section of Sears. They have torx tools there.
I picked up this flexible cable-type torx driver there when I had to tighten an extremely hard to reach clamp underneath a supercharger. It was so bad that I had to use a hand mirror each time to see that I've connected to the nut.

The Craftsman tool I have looks similar to this:

Slightly OT, but when did you get your Karcher, and from where? I just picked one up from Costco... Hoping it will last a while!

Its definitely going to have to be a screwdriver. The hole is just too narrow to fit a bit or anything else in there. I'll see if I can get to that Princess Auto in Coquitlam but thats a fair ways out for me.

I got my Karcher at costco too. I think I failed to winterize it properly and it may have froze in my garage, causing a crack in a plastic elbow. Its real common, but there's a step by step guide on youtube.

Depending on when you got it, if it was last year and you still have the receipt (even if you don't) I'd personally go back to Costco. They've got an amazing return policy, if you're not aware. I'd bet they'd take it back anyway and give you a new one.

I've had it a couple of years now. Even then, knowing Costco they might take it back but.......I feel like I'm pushing my karma.
