Had an Accident: What do you think I should do?

Hi guys,

Back in my crazy season I was driving when I was over stressed and worked and I hit a concrete post at approx 15/km on an odd angle. Attached are pictures of the damage, what do you think is the best thing to do to fix it? Should I replace fix or what? If you have any recommendations for body shops or specific people let me know.

I guess the good news is it could have been worse.

Other info: 335i, jet black, PDC (works)

Thanks

Feel sorry for you. Try to buff it off. If not then go check this link.

do you lease or own the car?

sometimes if the damage is very light, you can get away without fixing it when the lease is up.

if you own the car, its a total different story, you may want to fix it TODAY to keep the new car look......

If you want to fix it, repainting should be fine. However, make sure the body shop does good work because otherwise, the paint match will be horrid.

I own the car. I checked the link, so I should sand and repaint. Will that make it look as good as new? Or should I just replace the bumper?

BTW, thanks for the link.

When my old e90 325i's front bumper got hurt by a hit and run; the insurance company recommended these guys: http://www.411.ca/business/Ontario/R...n/3022666.html

They did a really good job, paint matched, bumper remolded, and very quick. And since my cheap azz insurance company "highly recommended" them; I'm assuming they are really cheap!

Hope this helps!
