Bay area mechanic...

I just bought a second car to help keep the miles down on my e90. Got a great deal on a Mercedes 450sl in the bay area, and I'm flying out to pick it up, and drive it back to Michigan. I know there's a lot of people in the Bay area on this forum, anyone know of a good mechanic that can look it over and fix some things? I don't want to be ripped off. Anyone know of someone who is good and reasonably priced?
