Any interest in an Exhaust Group Buy for GTA?

Hey everyone, another member and myself here were talking about seeing if we could get a discount on an Active Autowerke Exhaust (catback and/or X-pipe) from a local shop.

I am looking to move pretty quickly on this, seeing as our dollar is sitting at $0.90USD, the exchange rate is quite good for US products.

Please let me know ASAP if you would be seriously interested in moving on this in the next week or so. Can't guarantee anything, but if we get a group of 5-10 together we stand a chance of a discount....

+1. We'll pause here for a bit, but then head on towards parity, I expect we'l be there within 6 wweks.

OK, im not the currency expert.... if you guys say oil prices, followed by CAD are moving along steadily... no rush then, but still if anyone is interested, let's build a list!

I'm looking to probably get mine in the next week or two though, so the sooner I know the better.

Hey guys, if there is serious interest...Ill make something happen. The exhaust system is beautifull, and the x pipe just sweetens the deal! Just finished one today, and would reccomend it to anyone interested.

Lets see what we come up with guys.

Just got mine installed today by Johnny @ BimmerSport - AA Exhaust + X-Pipe.. a very worthy upgrade and highly recommend. My ears are still ringing from an hour or so of driving around with it!

I'm interested in this set up myself but concerned about whether the car will pass emissions testing. So far I have not seen defiinitive evidence that it will pass tailpipe emissions testing. Did you get HFC or catless? What do you plan on doing when it's time to do the Ontario Drive Clean emissions testing?

I'm running the catless x-pipe. I doubt this will pass emissions testing as is - you can practiclly smell the fuel from the pipes afterwards, but I still have the primary cats. I'll most likely get the HFC later on once I've put some miles on the current setup to see how it settles.

I still have the OEM x-pipe so it'll be a simple swap to pass emissions when that time comes; the entire package is bolt on so it shouldn't cause an problems.

The sound is a bit louder than I thought it would be - a LOT louder than stock but sounds amazing - very F1/race like. It definitely turns heads on the roads.

I met with DarkSeid2K today to get my painted reflectors and heard his exhaust...the car sounds SICK!!! Really nicely done...

What makes you guys think we're close to parity? (other then the oil as I can't see that holding up)
