Upgraded my non-hifi to DLS PS4A & x-program amp

Overall sounds much better.
Bass is now tight and punchy (not sure if it is worth putting in SWS).
Mids are clear and it just sounds more like a luxury car.

The xprogram amp is 2x200W class D. I didn't want to use an A/B amp, as the size was an issue, as well as finding a location which has cooling.
I used the xprogram one, as it was on sale. I would have gone with the Focal Solid 4 which is 4 x 100W, but it was nearly double the price.

I am running the subs, mids and highs all on the one channel. Impedance is 1.9 ohms and the xprogram hasn't shut down. I figure that there is some tolerance built in to their 2 ohm stable specs.

Did you use a passive x-over between the underseat subs and the DLS set? I would be concerned with the volume level of each component due to the difference in impedance, how did you get everything to play in harmony?

i would have preferred to go with a 4 channel amp, that way I could control the output for each channel. But, the size and cost of the x-program 2 channel one was too attractive.
The door speakers each have x-overs, but the mid-bass under the seats are now getting full range.

The DLS crossovers do not filter low bass from the 100mm mids... did you add another crossover to do that? Like a series capacitor?
