removing paper, carbon fiber filter in air intake

I removed the paper/ carbon fiber filter in my air intake box, and i have a K&N filter, and the difference in throttle response is night and day. Here is a link from the e90 forum on more about how to do it, and a DIY. Anyways this mod is definetly worth the time, it gets rid of any lag between 1k-4k.

Did you look into this? Don't wanna pull my intake out if someone else has done the hard work already

haha,i havent done it yet cozza. Im not to handy around the car per se. But if you want to give it a go and see if it works Ill be glad to do it after you

idk if your cars will have this since I was reading that European cars don't have the filter, just American cars because of emissions

I already have the K&N filter in my car - don't notice much of a difference, if any.
