Because we've got a lot of flakers and we will never be able to get such a large event going.

There's the bimmer cruise, turn out was great, but venue was small and they wanted everyone to pay to park inside the venue that was very very small.

The most successful meet we had was probably the meet for wings. Lots of folks showed up.

lol... their response was expected... i find a "cruise" to most people on these boards is to their local Starbucks which resides on the other end of their neighbourhood block.

in my opinion, if you aren't killing at least a full tank of gas... its not a cruise.

besides, it's been about 5 years since I was last at the Tail of the Dragon. I would love to tear it up in my bimmer

Well, I was checking hotels, rates aren't too high. Perhaps if we all drive down on Saturday morning, pass by whatever outlet malls, shopping...etc and we'll be there by evening time, get some rest and head to the meet on Sunday morning?

Though you guys may consider taking Monday off unless you plan to drive all night back to Canada...
