hey guys, i searched for the past half hour and can't find a thing on these two.

well long story short, i just got my car from BMW yesterday and they installed the MOST (I'm guessin its this, it's the retrofit kit that has the wire that goes into the glove which makes it possible to listen/use steering wheel controls). for some reason, i can't get my iphone to charge with it. it'll play the songs in the car and i'm able to use full controls, but i can't get it to charge. does anyone have the same problem? i have the iphone 3g with the newest firmware (2.2 i think)

The MOST adapter will not charge an iphone.
There are adapters you can add to the MOST cable to make it charge.

I have this adaptor on my ipod retrofit and it charges. while your at it, get the extension and run that sucker to your center console or do what i did here:

Does the MOST (dealer installed ipod adaptor) and BMW Assist work with 3GS iphone? Car is equipped with both BMW Assist and had the MOST ipod integration kit installed after delivery. I've been able to gather that charging will require a new harness/adaptor; however, unclear on how the MOST integration and BMW Assist operate together with the iphone 3GS.

Had my Most adapted installed by the dealer few months back and it works fine with ipod but it will not recognize my 3Gs iphone. Any idea why this is happening?
