Poor Sound quality (for caller) Bluetooth

People who call me complain of poor sound (perfect GSM signal) and that I sound "far away" even if I am not going that quick, dont have windows open etc. I had a demo car before mine and tests resulted in people saying it sounded great, so I am wondering if something is wrong. (hoping it is, since if this is as good as it gets, it is pathetic). Anyone had issues - hardware or software fix?
