Teen+Car+Garage=Fail

Car Into House
Wednesday May 6, 2009
CityNews.ca Staff

A two-car garage sustained serious damage after it was slammed by an out-of-control vehicle around 7pm Wednesday.

The vehicle took out the centre bricks dividing the garage on Kayak Crescent near Markham and Finch.

The 19-year-old behind the wheel ended up a little red-faced but not seriously hurt.

Residents in the home are being instructed not to sleep in the bedroom above the garage until an expert takes a look at the structural integrity.

Charges are expected to be laid against the teen driver.

The article suggests that he wasn't drunk or in medical distress.. so what happened? Too much txt'ing? Forgetting that the right pedal is gas, left is brake? Either way, I'm no psychic but I see a bus pass in his forseable future.

I don't know what it is about Corrolla's but whenever I see one there's a good chance the driver will do something stupid. Nice rims on that Corolla lol

As I clicked on this I knew what to expect and then I saw it, I kinda wanted to see 16 yr old with a BMW just to flame him a little more.

Beige ones are usually driven by ladies, seniors, or new immigrants.

See a lot of driving schools use small cars like corolla's, so the person that just barely passes the exam is so happy that they a corolla.

Imagine if driving schools were using hummers LOL. they would take the whole dam house down....
