anybody know much about CDT Audio EuroSport speakers

So I'm on woofersetc.com and stumbled upon these. Pretty sure I could get them somewhere else cheaper. Just wondering if any one could chime in on their quality.

I wasn't able to find the mounting depth for them yet.

so these would be comparable to the morel ovations or mb quarts a lot of folks are using as a replacement?

I was going to write that CDT Audio doesn't have any shallow 4" mids of any kind that can fit the E9x without serious modifications to the door...

CDT is probably better than MBQ (if it fits - if it doesn't, then MBQ is b etter : ) and nowhere near Morel Hybrid Ovation. Morel Dotech Ovation is a better comparison.

Okay so it's a Morel Dotech Ovation range speaker. The mounting depth for our cars is 2" I think. How much of a problem is that .1 going to be.?

There is metal directly behind the speaker magnet.

In the X3 I have pulled the OE grille and flush-mounted the speaker into the panel (instead of back-loading). The CDT might not allow that, as the Morel has a unique mounting provision.

The Morel's seem to be the winner by default..
