What we can do is to have a BBQ at a park (say Sunnybrook at Leslie and Eglinton), there are courts for rent, BBQ grills to use and lots of parking, once we finish, we can go for a cruise to where-ever. (I'd imagine bunch of guys would not like to have sand in their car, so perhaps beach volleyball would not be a good choice. I would say eating at a restaurant would be the easiest to arrange since no one needs to bring food or have to do any clean up, though we have had a lot of people who said they would come (cough cough) and never actually came, and that makes making reservation a nightmare, especially for a large group and some may require deposit. I have a wedding to attend on the 18th, but saturday or sunday should be "ok" Quote:
The problem is with a large group of people, it is pretty hard to follow each other in a cruise, especially in good weather when everyone is out. Unless we are doing this EARLY. I was heading up Highway 48 (ie Markham Road) for a project in Beaverton and it seems that the roads are pretty smooth and not much traffic lights to speak of (though speed limit is 60 to 80 only) on a two lane road. Drive would be pleasant and not much stress or catching up needed (cops love it there though). If there are any point of interest or some kind of gather area up in that area, driving up Highway 48 is actually not a bad idea, just not sure what is there to do.

A bunch of my friends are organizing 3-4 day trip to Wasaga beach sometime in June, were going to be a good 25+ people and good ratio. We should try to coordinate something !
