Escort Passport 9500i
Any testimonials on the Escort Passport 9500i GPS radar detector? Is it worth the $459? Obviously if you can avoid one or two tix it pays for itself but are there any better options?? Below is a link to this highly regarded device...

OP: I got a Valentine 1 and I love it. Although it picks up some alarm systems of buildings sometimes when I am close to ones that have their alarm system engaged, I can usually tell what is real and what isn't. Also, damn Infiniti cars make the laser detector trip because of their stupid distance control bull.

get the 9500 ix not the i. love it does a few more things. I am not sure, but I don't think the 9500i has auto learn which is my favorite thing. In my normal area that I drive, I have almost no false alarms. Seems to give plenty of warning, and I basically know if it goes off that I need to slow down now. People talk about the v1 and the arrows which seem neat, but for urban driving the 9500ix is nice, quiet, and has saved me multiple times from tickets in the 30mph zones where my local leo's love to hide.
