Logic 7 question again pls.

Put a post up recently about how my speakers accidentally came 'on' at full volume in my E91. Within seconds I reduced it down but with regards to damage caused. I am aware that there are 2 subs under the seats. I have not inspected them closely before but it is difficult to tell if sound is coming from them or not. Was wondering if anyone with the L7 could specifically hear sound from these subs. I appreciate they may create more of a resonance effect so it may be hard to head any direct sound. Could they both have 'popped' with the few seconds of max. volume?

You should be able to notice the surface of the lower seat cushions vibrate slightly when the subs are pumping. However I really don't think you would have damaged anything... I imagine the system was designed to operate at full volume otherwise it wouldn't have been programmed to go that high, usually speaker power handling capacity is higher than what the amp can produce.

Wow dude, you and your speakers may need therapy!

Seriously, when speakers "blow" they do not just die and stop producing sound alltogether. On the contrary, as I have pointed out earlier in your other thread, they will likely produce a crackling or popping sound, which will be much more audible than the music itself. So PLEASE take my advice and chill out, 'cause if you hear nothing but music, your speakers are just fine !!!

Your car should still be under warranty. Just stop by the dealership and they should check it out for free. But I think you are most likely fine.
