Hey Guys,
I bought a BT scan tool last week and used it in my car today for the first time.. i didn't have any codes or anything so i decided it's pointless for me to have it.. one VIN number is used but theres 2 left... I want $275 shipped FIRM (considering it is $301 shipped brand new)

are you kidding me? who honestly has three cars that they are going to use this with.. let's be real.. that sounds fair to me.. its not like it doesn't work as well or it'd broken or chipped or anything.. i just tested it out for at most 5 mins and i don't want/need it..

many of the members on here own more than 1 bmw. and sometimes it would be great to have the opinion to use the cable to help friends too.

really, the price you are asking right now is too high.

Well I'm not going below 250 picked up and 260 shipped.. I don't think someone with 3 bmw's needs to be bargain hunting anyways just buy a new one.. This is for people with one or 2 bmw's..

IMHO I say keep it. Think of it as a $300 insurance policy just in case.

not to be a dick but each vin holds about $100 of value - you have used 1/3 of the value of the product, why should anyone pay you a premium above that?

That's actually a decent point. The person who buys it from you and uses it on his car then only has one VIN left. His resale value drops exponentially.

Relax guys.....

I believe you are allowed to clear the Vins on the BT tool once for free If I remember correctly.

Exactly.. This site is obsessed with driving down prices.. Youd already be getting it cheaper than anywhere else and you're still complaining..

You have three BMWs. You probably don't need to be selling it at such a high price.

JK - People, let him sell it for however much he wants. Maybe someone who only plans on using it for his own car will enjoy saving 50 bucks?

I have done quite a bit of research on BT before I brought my own, but I have never heard of this...
