Trashed Java Black Pearl Subaru WRX
Yes, it's a Subaru but the paint was trashed and the owner wanted it fixed before he left for basic training. I have never seen this black with gold metal flake before. Apparently, it was only offered for one year by Subaru. Swirls and buffer trails greeted me when it pulled up.
CG CWG by hand Claybar M105 with PFW and Makita 9227 Menzerna 106FA with white pad and PC Optimum Poli-Seal with blue pad and PC Opti-Seal for my LSP IPA wipedown on each panel after each polishing step Tires dressed with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing 2:1 Black Wow applied to all exterior trim Full Sun before and after's Before's You can see the swirls and buffer trails More swirls and oxidized After's First pass with M105, and yes I had marring After M105 and 106FA M105/106FA/Poli-Seal We found Metal flake

Thanks! I have only seen M105 online. Auto Detailing Solutions has samples sizes that you can buy if you want to try it out first.

It was so swirled and oxidized I knocked it out in one pass, but I did mar it pretty good. It cleaned up nicely with 106

for some reason subaru paint oxidizes very easy. probably has something to do with how soft it is. good job! next time you take pictures of the car, take the flash off. it will make the car more exposed, it seems like the car is underexposed in these pictures, and i see the flash going off.

Thanks!
I had the flash on in some and took it off on others. I'm really learning how to take better pics but I was getting rushed.

Excellent job. Just fyi, that's not even closed to trashed for a WRX though.... lol
They have some of the crappiest paint. The pearls they use do pop once you polish and seal them which is one nice thing about Subie paint. |
