help
ok so me and my friend trying to start a detailing buisness. not like a full on detailing because we arent that experienced but we just want to start washing and waxing cars at first and go farther and we learn more
i was just wondering if you guys had any tips or recommendations |

work on your own cars first.....try different techniques.....take on easy cars to do.
and do every thing Zaxjax said to do

oh yeah i know i wasnt planning on polishing and stuff like that yet. just washing at first until i learn more but i do wash my car a lot and wax and i am very careful

I would suggest getting body panels from scrap yards to practice what combination or sealants, waxes and cleaners work best with certain paints.
If you want to take the next step jump in and grab a random orbital polisher. That is a much safer jump. It will help you do compounding and polishing work when you're ready but you can only just use it for sealant application etc. Read read read, practice practice practice. That's a good start.
