hey guys

I will be going away for at least 2 months
I won't be driving my car and it will be in the garage all this time.
what is a clicker charger
do I need it?
sorry not sure what its called
trickle charger..

For long-time maintaining battery charge, search this forum for "battery maintainer" or "battery tender," or go to the web side of a company called Deltran, which manufactures battery chargers and maintainers. They have a reasonable information there on the maintainer you need. Other sources of information are on commercial sites of Tisher and on Bavarian Autosport.

A Battery Tender is ~$40 and works wonders for things like this. No worry about overcharging your battery, and you can install leads very simply so it's installed should you ever need to do it again.

If you like OEM, BMW actually offers a trickle charger as well.

Dealers sells two slightly different chargers. The one that might work is 82 11 0 406 881. Good luck.
