In Need of Serious Help
Hey all,
So I was at work today and i had just washed my car on my lunch and when i went in i saw what looked like water droplets beading but i left it on my car and would go remove it later. Well later was about 10 minutes ago and when i went to touch it, the "droplets" had a gummy residue to it, almost like maple syrup. So i tried using some qd to remove it, and to my dismay it just smeared a little more all on my car. I think the product may be some kind of wheel cleaner (not acid), just a multipurpose, its blue in colour. How can I remove it? I need something like a canadian tire brand that is accessible immediately. Thanks, Joe |

Canook try whipping it off with Isopropyl and water. Mixed 1:1 ratio.
Spray on and whip off. Shoppers has the Isopropyl. Let us know the progress. Cheers, Nick

You could try some Bug & Tar Remover. It's safe for clearcoats and good at getting the sticky/nasty stuff off your paint.
Might be worth a try.

hey all, just got started this morning. i applied it to my clear bra,and it scratched it nicely...oh well, need it to be redone anyway.
on the body it seems to be working well but for some reason it looks like some of my metallic flakes are white now which is weird. i cant tell if its the microfiber towel fibres or not. should i continue doing what im doing? also is simple green good to use on the body of the car? how hard should i be pressing to remove this shit, it doess need a little more effort than i thought....waiting on a reply...thanks |

Did you apply the Bar Tar remover or the ISO wipe down?
Iso shouldn't be scratching anything since there are no abrasives in the solution. Cheers, Nick
