Question about Atlanta area tracks and locations

hey guys,

just two quick questions:

Where can I take my car and get some track time? I'm talking about casual tracking, nothing competitive.

Where is a good place for a photo shoot? My buddy and I were considering this but can't seem to find a good spot.

Thanks for the tips

Peachtree BMW CCA

The BMWCCA has two HPDEs coming up:http://www.peachtreebmwcca.org/index...id=49&Itemid=2

July 3-5
Oct 2-4

These are at Road Atlanta up 85. All the HPDEs are non-competitive, no timing or racing allowed.

Chin Motorsports has a non-competitive event at Road Atlanta on June 1st.

Go here and search for events around Atlanta:
https://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/calendar

Seems like all these groups send you here to register anyway...

How about take pictures at one of these events? M3 looks best when doing it's thing!

Before you take your car to the track two things:
1) Look at your insurance. There's a warranty thread that talks about this in the track section.
2) Brakes. The stock brakes may or may not hold up for you. Depends on how aggressive you are. Stock brakes were fine for me the first time out but not so good the second. Again something to search and read up on.
