For Sale: OEM Sport Package Runflat Tires - New
I have a practically unused set of the sport package OEM runflats for the E92 335xi with Sport package. Driven on for about 300 miles before I put on my Yokohamas.
These are the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, staggered fitment, 18", originals. 225/40R18 in the front, 255/35R18 in the back. They go for about $300 for the fronts and $400 for the rears. The whole set is $400 right now. Pickup only. I live in Highlands Ranch.

That is a great price. If I didn't already have a set of snows and a set off of our LR3 in our garage (and didn't think my wife would kill me for picking up another set of tires), I'd jump on these in a heartbeat. Good luck with the sale.

Yokohama ADVAN sport. Awesome tire. Minimal wear after 13K miles, superior performance compared to the runflats, less noise, less stiffness.
I plan to put them on my Targa at the first opportunity.

I'm curious as I went with non RFT for my snow tires, and haven't had any issues yet. I did get one of the "fix a flat" setups like what came with the E46 M3 (tube of goo, small air compressor, etc). I want to make sure I'm not missing an obviously better way of running non RFT without a spare. Thanks, Rich BTW - I hope you don't mind me going off topic here, but hopefully it is helping to bump your thread up too. |

I have an emergency inflation kit with compressor and slime plus roadside assist, plus it seems that a slow leak would be easy to deal with, whereas with a blowout it does not matter if you have runflats or not. The runflat have sidewalls like concrete, and I think they make the rise unnessesarily harsh.
