when i look up service info on the dash it says 10,000 miles 10/2010 for my oil change.

doesnt make sense to me since im at 16k already.

I think what he is saying is that he is at 16K already and the OBC is telling that he has another 10K to go... so 26K span for a single oil change...

...is it right or no?

Right, but it might not be a single oil change. If OP already has 16k in miles, it's pretty safe to assume he's already had an oil change. And if he hasn't then he's got a whole different set of issues to worry about.

IMX, the date is always wonky. I think mine currently says 3200 miles or [month]/2010. The date isn't even close. Go by the miles.

I just completed my Inspection 2 at 29K and it says my next service (assuming oil change) is 7K or 4/2010! Hello, I do 7K miles in like 3 months!

Hey I sympathize with the OP. I'll admit it. When I first saw the service mile thingy, I thought the same thing. Then when I went past that number I was perplexed until I RTFM.
