aftermarket intake and dealer

I just got the vishnu DCI installed and I'm taking the car into the dealer for them to fix my squeaky break, will the intake have any effect on the warranty or anything? Will they say anything? Thanks.

They shouldnt say anything, the warranty shouldnt be void unless the intake causes the problem which isnt the case with your brakes.

Me perosnally, I would take it off and put the stock one back on temporarily. But like the above said prolly nothing will happen. But keep in mind you don't want them to red flag you.

No. Unless the intake somehow affects the brakes. Since the two components have nothing to do with one another, they cannot deny warranty work on your brakes.

No; however, they can silently make note of your mod and potentially use that against use if you end up blowing up your engine later on.

thanks for the reply guys, I guess I'll just go in there with the intake on, they prolly won't even look at the engine bay to fix the brakes eh?

Yeah they probably shouldnt because im sure they are busy during the day and theres no reason for them to open the hood if they are working on your breaks

There's nothing wrong with a little flaming to remind people to search. It's even in the forum rules.

If you can tell me how to exercise patients over a forum, please enlighten me! I would love to be the next millionaire selling a diet plan!

While I do admit that it was a bit over the top, it did get the point across.
