Wiper Fluid always low
I seem to have to refill this every three weeks ro so. And always get the annoying ! prompt. I only use the wiper fluid twice a week. And dont suspect any leaks in the resevoir. How often do you guys refill?

I have to refill mine every 20-30 days during winter season. Especially this year here in Boston, can't believe how much salt they dumped on the roads.

if you had leaks, you'd notice puddles of coolant everywhere you park....i don't see how you have to fill up every three weeks if you hardly use it....are you sure you are filling it full each time or just putting in a little here n there....i used mine quite a bit over the past winter and have only had to fill it up once that i can remember over the past two months...

You need the cold weather pkg in order to have headlamp washers. My e92 w/ xenons don't have headlamp washers.

Dealer replaced my headlight nozzles last week as I was losing fluid. There were no puddles, but he told me they are notorious for leaks. Also, you can avoid activating the headlight washers by turning the headlights OFF when you want to spray the windshield. With low-light outside during the day, the headlights sometimes are on automatically and my headlight spray is activated when it's unnecessary. Yes, it's an extra step, but it saves fluid and washer fluid on your hood.

I use the regular blue windshield washer fluid sold by all automotive stores, and add to it the BMW Windshield Washer Antifreeze (83 12 0 411 336), which comes in plastic bottles labeled 'Original BMW Products.' I do not think the fluid is anything special (65 % of it is ethanol) and do not use it because of its origin, but I like how it smells. BMW also sells a washer fluid booster, which I had tried and found it worked just as well, but found it gave me lesser olfactory pleasure.
