335i sedan mt Vs. 135i mt

ok i donno if this is right but i was on m way home tonight and i was getting on the highway just cruising in 6th , long story short a guy gives dead brakes in front of me so i switch over 2 lanes (aggressively) and a 135i get's right in my ass .So i punch it at 80 in 3rd switch one more lane and he gets on the side of me.So we slow down to 80 for a 3rd gear pull and honk it off.Winds up i finish 5th gear and only had him by THE PASSENGER DOOR

he was stock and i have a jb2 and and bms intake

here's where it gets interesting from what it looked like he weighed around 150 lbs

i weigh 180+260 lb passenger+230 passenger+ my car weighs about 300 heavier

i did the math and it came out to 917 lb difference

is this right b/c i think i was supposed to walk this guy

No, you were not going to "walk" him.

Igonorant thread in every way.

1. Chaging 2 lanes on highway AGGRESIVELY with all those big passengers.
2. Slowed down speed was 80mph.
3. Gunned it at 80mph and went all the way up to 5th on the public highway.
4. Assuming his car is stock.
5. Assuming his weight is around 150lb.
6. Assumming jb2 E90 335i with passengers could walk a stock 135i.
7. Assuming 135i was 6mt.

Every 100 lbs extra you have is basically like giving up 10hp. So if you truly raced him with 900lbs extra, that is like 90HP! So given those factors, your results are impressive, and its pretty amazing he didn't walk away from you.

I can give you the real story as we have both a 135i and 335i as Company Cars (I drive the 335i), have raced them side by side -

Race 1- 0-240KLM Per Hour, Auto Mode, Traction all the way off, side by side light went green - 0-100 135i had me by about a car length as we reached 200klm per hour were side by side and the 335i finished up a nose in front of the 135i.

Race 2 - to come as since our first race the 135i has been modded through Harding Performance with the software upgrade now delivering an extra 70KW and better mid range power, Taking them to the track on the 27th Of march so will give you all an update for stock 335i Vs modded 135i

917 lbs is an incredible disadvantage.... And you actually ask if that's why...?

BTW, your friends are fat. Maybe it's time for a 335d.

1) You shouldn't be racing on public roadways. That was irresponsible.

2) You shouldn't be racing with passengers in the car, which endangered more lives than should have been.

3)

It really bothers me when people race on public streets...you are putting at risk not only yourself and your passangers but all the other people on the road. Take it to the track.

Yes...the passenger weight makes a huge difference.

And while I don't condone racing on public streets, you've gotta admit it's really hard to resist the urge to kick it in the ass when someone comes up on you like that.
