Photo Request: OEM Aero Bumber on 328
Someone told me that the rear aero bumper for the 328 and the 335 both have the pipes on each side. But, I swear I saw a photo when I was searching that had one on a 328, and the pipes were just on the left side.
Anyone have photos on a 328? (Preferably an E93) It's the aero bumper with the mesh on the back. Thanks. EDIT: Oops, probably shouldda put this in photos section.....

I love the "bumber" for bumper and "drunk" for trunk. Very cute GoGo
And what is your idea anyway? Can't tell from your post OT: Just saw this post made #335 for me! so special... |

Why don't you change your existing exhaust to dual/quad and pick a bumper ........ ANY bumper?
With dual exits in place; they'll all work! |

Hi guys,
My plan was to get the oem aero bumper. I guess I thought (and I know NOTHING about mods) that they would change the exhaust so it comes out the left and right side of the back. It just looks funny to me with it just on the left side, I have only been able to find ONE photo of it, so if anyone has one, pleeeeeease post up! Hollow....I wasn't aware I could do that either. That is probably the solution to my problem, but I don't want to spend a ton of money on the exhaust. How much does that cost? I'm sure there are a billion different options for that too, huh? Thanks!

Lots of different exhaust alternatives for a dual exhaust fitted to the 328i. IMHO, dual quads would look/sound best ....... especially on the Montego vert.. I don't believe OEM offers a rear bumper with dual exits for a 328. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! You wouldn't need a cat-back exhaust system to accomplish the dual look; just a muffler with dual outlets and ofcourse the rear bumper for a 335i (normally lots of these for sale within the for sale section of the forum). I've seen a couple member's 328s showing dual quad exhaust as well as one that was able to fit a 335i exhaust to the 328i. Here's a link showing a few pics of exactly what I'm talking about regarding dual exhaust/single muffler on the 328. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...335+conversion another thread showing the process ... scroll down for the pics within the thread! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180665 and one more ......... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...al+exhaust+328 In the end, you're going to want to find a talented "exhaust tech" able to manipulate the piping etc. Sounds worse than it really is ....... read through the links I've posted and it will hopefully give you a better idea of what is involved in accomplishing this mod. Wow. Sounds like alot of work, huh? The sound and aesthetic appearance will be worth it though ........ then all you need are some CSL's and a mild drop. Bangin' baby. |
