1100 hp 335i

Okay i know sounds kind of ridiculous .But i was recently at BMW service and i was talking to one of the SA's about intakes and tune's crap like that then he goes and says quote"ya just a couple of month's ago there was a guy that brought in this 1100 hp 335"
my reactionWhat are talking about.
but wait it gets better.
SA: "he brought it in for a tail light bulb replacement and i checked the car out and seen that the exhaust was not street legal and the engine sounded like a Boeing 747.So i called him and asked him what the hell did you do to this car? he of course said ...just exhaust so i popped the hood and noticed that it looked like a 1970 chevelle 396 v8 and called bmw North America, told them about the car ,they confiscated the car from him, gave him his money back for whatever he gave for the car, and put the thing on bmw's racetrack........It probably looked like this
SA:winds up the guy tells me he cut the heads and replaced the turbos,(well after he purchased the new e92 m3 with the cash bmw gave him) and he made around 1100 hp to the floor.

My next reaction.......... HOLY SHIT BARNIE BALLS

Of course i did not believe him but then he got me thinking ...maybe

does anyone know about a psycho that the made 1100 hp in a 335 in the FL area

That has to be the most stupid thing i have ever heard. You probably wont be able to fit the V8 into the bay and even before that, the transmission would just give up the ghost. It took Ricardo years of burning midnight oil before they could make a transmission for the Veyron, there is no way a plain jane ZF tranny could take more than that and still work.

Can you please give me the SA's number and what dealer what this? I would like to call him and tell him he def doesn't deserve a job there.

1100 HP 335i.... and I call BS. If anyone tried to pull that BS on me I would call the Manager down for a meeting with said SA and get a free keychain or watch for feeding me a huge BS story and wasting my time.

what are you guys sayinggggg its so easy to make our cars over 1000HP....just change the exhaust tips

yea that seems pretty impossible, plus its obvious that car was a buy, therefore bmw cant just simply decide to come and take it from that guy...can they?
no one in their SANE HUMAN mind would do that to a lease.

I doubt that a car like that would be able to escape the spotlight especially with all the forums and car clubs aimed solely at BMWs. Someone, somewhere would've seen it.

If BMW is buying cars off of customers and putting them on the track, then I'm scared for the future of BMW.

I agree with posters above - BS
