Finally ordered my BMW 335i coupe

Hi, guys...

I was having hard time to decide vehicle betweem Audi A5 and BMW 335i. Audi has nice design and 4 wheel drive and BMW is Ultimate Driving Machine^^. I was thinking about 5 monthes. and finally Euro M-sport pkg came to U.S. which just started in this month. I was happy. I did not hesitate any moment. Call up to Crevier BMW and ordered Alpine white BMW 335 Coupe, M-sport pkg(aero dynamic kit, shadowline trim, sports seat, anthracite headliner, M-sports steering wheel, M-sport shift knob, M-sport 18 inch wheel), premium pkg, nav, comfort access, 7 logic sound system, smartphone integration, heated seat, HD radio, Park distance control.

I will post up the pic soon as I get the car. I am in Irvine.

Nice choice, I was in the same situation as you except I was looking at the S5. It was not worth the extra money. The A5 was under powered.

Good choice on not getting the A5, it is a supermodel with Herpes. You would never have been happy with it's speed.

Congrats on the purchase. I was in the same boat as you and Accord as well. For a totally different set of reasons, I ended up with an E90.

As overpriced as it is, the A5 is a sexy-looking car.

Congrats! Superbly spec'd.

Just to mention one among many features of the car that really impressed me was the Idrive/Nav system. It's phenomenal: screen size/resolution/inset/features and multiple displays are really outstanding. The car has loads of technology and I think the IDrive system organizes and presents them brilliantly. Unmatched from my research.

I really like the design as well. Exterior is classic and refined. And, the interior is high-quality no-nonsense minimalism-cool.

And, of course, inimitable driving character.

The 335i is considerably better than the A5. IMO the upgraded sporting accents[wheels, brakes, black headliner, seats, grille/bumper, etc] and most importantly the intoxicatlingly sonorous 4.2L V8 is what puts the Audi S5 in the running against the 335i.

I had a very hard time deciding between the 335i and the S5. I bought the
S5 6 weeks ago. I don't think the M Pkg had been released yet. I hadn't heard of it. It would've made my choice even harder.

Also in your original post you mentioned Audis 4 wheel drive but BMW has the Xdrive and you still went with non-Xdrive?
