Do's and Don't when returning my lease in May?
It's coming to a close, as my 3-year lease on my 330i is ending this May. Advice on what to do and what not to do? What about the floor mats, since I got them for free, I assume I keep them and sell it like on ebay or something?
Anything else, like a $400 fee? I am looking to get an 09 335i coupe, A5 or TT. |

If you dont re-lease a BMW, then you will have to pay the 350.00 deposit.
You should be fine. I had no problems at all and was worried for nothing.

Unless it's a TTS...I drove one a couple days ago and it was amazing.

You should be fine. Just try to have it a little clean when you drop it off and it will be a quick drop off.

If you tell BMW Financial (during the routine lease-end marketing call) that you're thinking of getting another BMW within a few months of the lease end, they will hold off on sending you that bill for the lease end/disposal (at least for a couple of months).

Nope. When I picked up my '09 at the dealer, they did the lease turn-in inspection. Zero gas (literally 30 miles left in the tank), a couple of dings, minor curb rash on two wheels and absolutely no extra charges were assessed. Since I am financing the new BMW, BMW Financial will waive the $350 lease turn in fee, and I'm owed a $550 security deposit on the '07. Since the new car comes with 0.9% financing and BMW Financial pays the first 2 payments, I basically have no payments until June on the new car (not including the returned security deposit). Not a bad deal.

Make sure you leave enough juice for them to start the car once - to read your mileage
