Xdrive noise
I have an '07 328xi coupe, with 6spd manual. I took delivery in Jan. '07. After about 6 months of driving I started to hear a sort of fluttering sound whenever I downshifted. I thought it was just valve noise, but it got louder and so I took in to the dealer and they replaced the xdrive module. The sound went away, but is doing it again off and on. It only makes the noise when down shifting from 3rd gear or higher, or when I'm in 5th or 6th gear on a highway doing 60mph or more and lift my foot off the gas. Anybody have any comments or info on this? Thanks.
