More HPFP problems in the near future?
I just saw this article about increasing ethanol percentage in gasoline from 10% to 15%. I guess BMW can expect a big increase in HPFP if this goes through and more complaints on this forum.

Great, more expensive bread and corn in addition to more HPFP failures.
Honestly, this probably isn't going to work because car companies are going to push back really hard and now is the worst time to put pressure on them. BTW, the agriculture secretary Tom Vilsack can get down on his knees and suck it.

Great, my car with @3K miles on it is starting to have long cranks when stone cold, guess I can expect an HPFP failure real soon. Funny thing is this started after 2 tanks of nitrogen Shell, coincidence maybe. Gues I'll only use Chevron from now on! Cali gas sucks!!!!!!

Note where the speach was being given -- it is pandering to the crowd.
If they go to 15% more than BMWs will suffer and the EPA will take years to do their testing Its all bull to pump up the crowd -- just like every politician -- rhetoric is king and learning to lie is a big part of the job. |
