Interior color - HEEEEELLLP!!!
Hi guys, I just ordered a brand new E92 330d MSport. While I'm sure about the black sapphire outside, I'm still struggling to find out what the best matching interior color is!....
My choice would be among one of the following options: 1) Black leather 2) Saddle brown 3) Alcantara I could find many pics of options 2 and 3 but none with back leather. As you know, the MSport package includes also the black ceiling and so I'd really like to get an idea of how it would look like in the "all black" setup (exterior, interior, ceiling). Any picture of a MSport in this setup to show? I'm running out of time since I need to confirm my choice within today.... Please, heeeeeelllpp a desperate bimmer!!!! |

i think it depends: are you going for a very sporty look or more of a classy/sophisticated look?
sporty = black leather (or coral) with alcantara roof lining sophisticated = saddle i personally would choose saddle, but you are getting an M sport...so go SPORTY!

Thanks guys, any pics of the "all black" look to show?
I'm a bit scared of getting sick of the saddle after a few time, also cause I'm planning to keep this car for a few years... |

Go to a dealer with lots of cars and check out the color combinations you are interested in. That's the only way you can make a good decision. I spent an hour at a local dealer walking up and down the rows of E9x's before I made my choice. I thought I was going to order Alpine White on black and ended up getting black sapphire on black. I like the saddle interior but I think I'd get tired of it.
Go here to visualize any color combination: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...isualizer.html. Go here to see pictures: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1612. |

I'd choose saddle for a black coupe. It will give the interior a great color contrast.
I'd only choose black for the Alcantara Performance seats:

I've ordered black sapphire, with black seats and black headliner! Haven't seen one irl, so can't wait to see it in a few weeks! It will be quite dark ofcourse, but that's what I wanted... Saddle also looks great BTW ik you like a bit of contrast between interior and exterior.

If you already ordered the car, then why are you asking about the interior color now?

you can change the colors after order, unless its far down the production stream.

Agree. But it sounds like OP hasn't yet made the interior decision and the car is already ordered.

saddle brown would look real nice on a black car... black on black is a little too plain.

How about the Grey? I'd like the Grey interior on a black car. But then again, I've always liked lighter colors on the interior (I have Monaco Blue/Beige on my E93).

You can't really lose with any of these choices. I would go for the Alcantara myself.

Saddle Brown! I just love the class it adds to the car and the fact that it doesn't show dirt is another plus. The compliments it keeps getting is nice icing on the cake. As is the fact that I've been in Italy in the summer and wouldn't want to get into a black car and sit on boiling how black leather upholstery.
This is my second BMW with Saddle Brown! |
