Got the painted grills in but...

Hi, I got the grills in fine but for some reason i can NOT put the LAST hex nut back in... (passenger side left nut on the e92.) it just wont screw back in im currently driving around with 3 nuts in out of the 4 looks as if everything should be fine.

it feels as if the screws wont catch on to anything at all as i am screwing it in. as if the screw can not bite on to any spirals...

any help? or does anyone know if i will be fine? thanks will get pictures of them in the morning.

Here is a visual from the DIY, not my car. (I am talking about the FAR LEFT screw) Cant get that one back in.

Did you contact who you purchased it from? It would seem to me that all of the screws were needed?

I think there are metal clips that go under the but...when you took it out, one of them must of fell off...it is a clip with a hole that has threads in it/

Yes.

I had that same problem too. I had to stick my finger in and tilt the clip upwards so the screw would properly latch onto the clip.

lol thanks i think that should be added to the diy since alot of people are having this problem its a easy fix jus take out the metal thing hammer it so that it lines up with it and then screw it back in. took me 30 minutes to figure it out though.
