Garage List
I changed the oil after a track day... didn't feel like driving around in "used" oil. Luckily, my car had 7000 miles at that time.

diff and trans fluid are never lifetime though you dont need to change them after each track day.

Our main C mod car went all last season without an oil change till the last race but that was only cause we tore the head off the motor

WOW. You ran your 335i all season without changing the oil? How did the internals look after you tore it apart?

for a keeper i would change the gear oils every 30k miles and use oil analysis to determine the change interval for the engine oil, and start with 7500 miles

i believe the condition based service for engine oil takes into account engine revolutions not mileage so for a 'non keeper' change wear items whenever the car asks for it and hide behind the claim for 'lifetime' gear oils

So I guess besides Engine oil, that's really nothing else to change then??

And as for tranny oil, I should wait till 30k?

I would swap out your brake fluid. Use ATE Type 200. NOT the blue stuff.

If you're a beginner, you may not boil your fluid, but brakes are one of those things you really really don't want to have fail on you.

While I think the adrenaline rush from squeezing the brakes and feeling the pedal fall to floor is one of life's more exciting moments, you probably want to avoid it.
