Am I going to be a ricer?

My car is E90 TiAg
Would carbon fiber oem front splitter + carbon fiber mirror cover make my car
any ricer? I'm just aiming for clean look...with some contrast...
Should I paint them matte black???
CF is a cheaper way... but if I want matte black I'll have to shell out extra $$$
I've seen many pictures.. and they came out clean... (at least to me)
However, I don't want people to think im a ricer when they see my car...

Here is an example: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...front+splitter

If you have to ask....

No, seriously. This is a totally personal decision. If you're down with the style and you can swing it, do it. If it makes you feel icky inside, then it's already ricer. This is like asking us what t-shirt you should wear to McDonald's.

thats really true... I mean its good to me... but basically... I will feel really bad if people think I'm riced out...
I guess what I'm trying to say is... Other people's opinion > mine

it's all up to you. it's your car, you shouldn't worry about what other people have to say. and it's a bmw, people don't really associate rice with german cars. (just don't put a huge spoiler or huge exhaust tip on it)

It depends on your opinion but if you ask me, even the least amount of exposed CF is not something that will look good on a car. No weight gains + Looks Cockish = Save your money.

there are a huge amount of members here that have CF parts, and they certainly are not ricers. i say go with it, you have nothing to worry about. if it looks clean, its great

if you overdue it like paint your car pink, cover it in graphics and slap on a huge ass spoiler, then youre pushing it haha

CF is definitely not rice if done correctly. And from what you want to do, I think it'll look nice.

Go for it!

Bottom line is... Its your car... What you do with it is completely you decision...

I mean if everyone on the forums told you to paint your car purple and get some green rims would you? Do what YOU want.

Honestly, carbon fiber is used in parts for strength and weight reduction. When people use it in lips and as mirror covers, it defeats the purpose of carbon fiber. In both applications, its an additional item which is adding weight to the car. Now, if you used the carbon fiber (real carbon fiber) to replace parts on the car, I could understand.
