I have replaced hvac fan(I don't know what it exactly called. It seems coming from front of passenger seat)reason that annoying noise from it.
It kind sounds like computer fan. And now 13k, it still makes noise all the time and drive me crazy.. Does any one has fixed this issue? thx |

Dude, find the work order and post the specifics before the flaming really begins. And NO, you don't need to press the new topic button on the page every time you log in.
About this thread: I can only understand that a fan was replaced under warranty because you complained of a noise and the noise has resurfaced again at 13,000 miles.

He must be talking about the noise that many believe is the electric water pump. The one you can only hear if the radio is off.

If you are talking about that same issue then I have bad news for you, the problem isn't fixable since there is no real problem.

Does it sort of come and go in very short intervals, audible only when the car is idling? if so then yes it is normal... I have to agree that it is a bit annoying.

It may be, BK, but all of OP's posts are full of this type of fail. It gets really tiring after a while.

Not make having problem like this ever. Isn't noticed any noises from passenger seat like fans. Maybe you have extra built in turbo under passenger seat. OR maybe you have built in computer with fan under passenger seat. Checking it and see if am right. If you want quick solution, turn radio ON.

What kind of computer fan? I've got some pretty quiet 120mm Logisys fans and a noisy as hell 50mm 8kRPM NB fan. The NB fan is a noisy little bugger.
Is that what it sounds like or is it more of a meaty roar like a 230mm on crack? |
