Overkill? Rear AND Roof Spoilers?

Just wondering.

I've got the rear spoiler and was wondering how many have the rear roof spoiler as well.
Is it overkill to have both?

Yep! I still consider it overkill regardless of the 3-series designation (...E36, E46, E90, etc.). But to each their own as modding is simply about preference.

i think it doesn't look too bad if your car is heavily modified.

GET BOTH! I guess I'm a lil biased though --I have the OEM rear spoiler, and I recently added the ACS roof spoiler. To me, the back looks more complete that way...

I like the both which is why I ordered both.

At first however, I must admit that I wasn't feeling the roof spoiler but it definitely grew on me.

I aready have the OEM deck lid spoiler on my car, and I just bought the ACS roof spoiler. I havent yet installed the roof spoiler, but i'm worried that it might be to much.

I think that i'm going to install it, if I dont like it I can always take it off. It's not like its going on the paint, it only goes on the window.

depends what you do with the car. roof spoiler works with some mods, and not with others

A part of me agrees. Nobody wants too much "junk in the trunk," on or near it. I could live with or without the roof spoiler.

haha... i havent opened up the sun roof for a while... but then again i've been driving on the hills and on the highway lately so opening that up would just let in leaves and dust...

but yeah IMHO thats why i had that other thread asking for a picture of a car w/o the deck spoiler but w/ the roof spoiler... at first i thought that without the deck spoiler, the roof spoiler might look kinda silly... but after a while it looks allright. I guess its just preference as everybody would say...

I see in ksfrogman's first pic that you can see the third brake light, but the camera angele looks a little low. Just curious, when you install the roof spoiler is the 3rd brake light easily seen by other motorists?? (BTW I have been comtemplating the roof spoiler without the rear deck spoiler)

definitely overkill. i resisted the urge to get a TRD roof spoiler for my g9 corolla with a boot spoiler too. i personally feel bmws , unlike jap cars ,cannot be overdone. too much and it looks less executive and classy.

Yeah, here's that thread with pics that just4kickz was talking about.

My car is with roof spoiler, no deck spoiler. Personally, I like it.

Whatever, let's do the poll. I don't think it's overkilled at all. Looked good to me. That's why I decided to buy it last time. No regret.
