Spare Key Stolen -- Replacement Cost?

Hi, all

Had my house broken into and looted while I was at work yesterday. The thieves made off with the usual TVs, valuables and electronics. They also found my BMW spare. Per BMW, it looks like they can deactivate one key such that the car may be entered but not started. Ultimately, I will need to have both replaced.

Has anybody had to get an entire new key kit for their E9X? My SA said it was horribly expensive to do.

Cheers.
