Me too.. In the UK there's a a few places where you can have a go in single seaters. (1500/2000cc). I did twice. Great fun. Does show you the point of downsizing, even on an rpm limited (for obvious reasons) 150 bhp engine in a 550-600 kg car (that includes the driver).

I believe in France you can drive the 06 model F1 cars at € 3000/day providing you fit in - 3 'unlimited laps' - haven't read the insurance small print
