M-Tech Pedals - Installed - Pics
So I started the install at 1AM figuring it would take me an hour at the most to complete. Yeah, right. From start to finish it took nearly 4 hours - Dead pedal took about 15 minutes, but the brake pedal and gas pedal were bitches because I had to significantly file down the end of the screws for both of them (because on the brake the screws sticked out far enough that they would show and on the gas pedal it prevented me from doing full throttle). Although, this included putting all of the tools away and vacumming, etc. Regardless, I think it took way to damn long but it looks sweet and I'm glad I did it. And it grips just as well as the OEM pedals did so performance wise nothing was lost. Although when I first received them the rubber was a bit slippery so I took some Griot's Rubber Clean to them and that got rid of all of the oils or whatever that was on them.

If you're organized and have a good understanding for what's involved, you could probably do the entire install in 2 hours or less. About 30 minutes of my time was stopping to watch the TV (30" TV mounted on the wall in my garage) in between getting tools. |

Nice install! Those look like replicas though. I dont think ///M has pedals for the e90 yet, only the footrest. If those are real, I prefer my pedals over those...
My install: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17095 Brake pedal took the most time and the top two screws for the dead pedal. Danny

I hear ya, I hope your ///M pedal boat stays afloat longer than your CF boat.

It will. I have some reservations about the carbon fiber stuff in the beginning whereas I have no reservations or doubt about these ///M pedals. I love them. Unless something happens to them or the rubber starts slipping or something, they will remain on the car. Oh and as far as the CF goes, I've still got the CF Door Pillars on there (I like them and then I don't like them so I'm just going to wait until one day when I decide I don't like them enough, I guess? Haha) and as you know the CF Shift Knob I'm selling because I'm going a different route. So the other CF on my car is the CF Door Pillars --- which might go if I decide to have a clear bra installed on the B-pillar which would eliminate the finger prints (at least quite a bit). |

It's interesting to see what poplar trim looks like against the black interior. I had ordered my car this way, but the mistakenly put in burl, which I am happy with. It's rare to see a car with poplar. How do you like it?
