Did I recognize John D (Deeno's) voice there as the instructor? He is from SoCal. Or am I mistaken. Yes, with R compounds you were definitely being very cautious. I think I was going a bit faster with my Goodyear F1-D3s, right?

yup, I was paired up with Deeno for the weekend.

You were going so much faster than me everywhere. You were able to give it full throttle on the straights where I could not. Even if I would have been on the same tires, I wouldn't have been fast enough to get the traction control light to come on through 9. And I definitely wouldn't have had the skill to make it a non-event.
