Sweet...

I get to drive this a bit at the Audi Club driving event at Laguna next week...will be taking it easy on my car..since my brake rotors are acting up a bit..and I cant get replacements for awhile. The owner of this car is also my student.

Sweet Audi, is that an S4 or a RS4? What kind of track prep does it have (tires, suspension, engine tuning etc)?

Is that still that same issue you were having a while back with that "clunking" noise? I've got my Alcon kit sitting in the garage, waiting for available time to install it.

How does a guy who owns that car still need an instructor? I'm sure you are great instructor and all, but it sort of reminds me of this guy who came with a tricked out heavily-modified 135i and then told me it was his first track event

i love driving my students car. There was a time at PDA, that I showed one of my students how to properly drive a FORD GT. It was an amazing experience for both of us.

Have fun at Laguna, I am a little envious, i wish i was going there. Also beware of Turn 1.

Maybe the guy is following the 'start with a large fortune' advice on how to breaking into motorsport

he has never driven at Laguna before...and for some reason always requests me as an instructor. He is definitely advanced..he already instructed at one event before. He has about 32 track days...mostly at Miller Motorsport in UT.

That's just wrong.

I want to know about how your rotors are acting up?? I'll be at LS on 2/28 and SP on 3/1. First events of the year, I can hardly wait!

Yeah...the springs between the rotor hat...and the rotor themselves break down over time. I got them replaced on the left side..but then they started making noise on the right side. I have ordered new rotors..but they are on backorder from Alcon in the UK. ETA is March.

Very nice ride! Should be a lot of fun buzzing around in an RS4.
